Apostolis Anthimos Trio
Apostolis Anthimos – born in Poland to political refugees from Greece – is one of the leading figures of electric jazz fusion internationally. In the 1980s and 1990s Apostolis Anthimos split his time between Greece and Poland, collaborating with acclaimed musicians (Tomasz Stanko, Gil Goldstein, Paul Wertico and others) and working as a session musician. Apostolis Anthimos also released his own albums (always marked, especially on the jazz rock scene, by their quality) and has his own bands, most recently his trio with bassist Robert Szewczuga and drummer Krzysztof Dziedzic.
